Warsaw Tourist Attractions
Warsaw has quickly grown into one of the leading travel destinations in the region. Many European cities are very expensive but Warsaw offers great value for money. Visitors can enjoy hotels, shopping and restaurants at much lower prices then what people would pay in London, Amsterdam or Rome for example.
The Polish capital is especially very popular with British and German travelers. A number of British low cost airlines operate flights from the UK to this wonderful city. Most German visitors travel by car to Warsaw.
This travel related article offers advice and information about the best things to do in the Polish capital. So if you have always wanted to visit this lovely city then be sure to visit some of these excellent attractions whilst in town.
Royal Castle
The Royal Castle of Warsaw is certainly one of the most impressive buildings in this Polish city. The Royal castle had been destructed and was completely rebuild nearly thirty years ago. Opening hours for visitors are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 until 16:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 until 16:00.
Old Town
The old town section of Warsaw is also known as Stare Miasto and it is a wonderful part of the city to explore on foot. There are many wonderful restaurants, shopping venues and historic buildings for you to enjoy.
Lazienki Royal Park
One of my favorite attractions of the city is Lazienki Royal Park. This is the ideal place to visit for those of you that are looking for a peaceful place to spend a part of the day. This Warsaw park is open daily from dawn until dusk.
